Our Lambs are grass-fed on lush, pesticide and fertiliser-free natural pastures, rich in wild grass, trees and other grasses. This produces a rich flavour-full, unstressed meat that is tender, succulent and just delicious.
Our lamb is the perfect breed for meat, a cross-breed of North of England Mule and Texel, the Texel Cross is perfect. The North of England Mule, is a blend of big boned and small hardy sheep from off the moors, which makes the meat so much more flavoursome and tender, and the Texel, is a lowland sheep, that is larger and better shaped sheep, therefore you get plenty of meat for your money. So combined you get a tasty, hardy, and perfectly shaped lamb, perfect for your evening meal!

About Our Farm
A Family Run Company
Stell House Farm is a small, family farm, thriving off the land...
It all started early last year, in April, when we bought our first lambs. At the time the eldest was 1 week and the youngest, only 3 days. We fed them by hand, in their cozy little stable, whilst the winds were howling outside.
As the end of winter became spring, the lambs grew and they were eager to go outside and nibble on their first blades of grass.
We then grew our chicken flock from 8, to 28. Our free range eggs became a favorite with the dog walkers, cyclists and hikers going down the lane.
Also, be sure to check out our range of homemade jams and preserves here.
