Why our meat is so good
Our lamb is the perfect breed for meat, a cross-breed of Swaledale and Blue Leicester, the North of England Mule is perfect. The Swaledale, is a smaller sheep, from off the moors, which makes the meat so much more tasty, and the Blue Leicester, is a lowland sheep, that is larger and better shaped. So combined you get a tasty, hardy, and perfectly shaped lamb, perfect for your Lamb Box.
Our Lambs are grass-fed on lush, pesticide and fertiliser free natural pastures, rich in wild grass, trees and other grasses. This is perfect for the sheep's diet, as there is rich variety in the grass they consume giving them the best of the pasture. This produces a rich flavour-full meat which is tender and falvoursome.
