As I'm sure most of you know, we sell all the eggs we get from our chickens out the front you all you fantastic customers.
But we have noticed as demand has increased, that the little egg sales box we had out the front, with its 2 shelves was becoming increasingly inadequate and unhelpful for a number of reasons:
It was very old, about 5 years old and since then we've done nothing to it, so it was extremely tired
It was very easy to vandalise the box as it was lightweight small and not secured to the wall, hence we had numerous attempts to hack into the little honesty box to get the money inside.
All of our customers have to bend down considerably to get the eggs and pay for them, especially the old people
It was not very obvious the fact that it was a egg sales box to the passing car.
So, with all this in mind, and it had been in mind for a while we decided to take action and make a new one.
This new egg sales box had to solve all the problems in the bullet points above and have a larger capacity.
So we came up with this:
TADAAAA!!!!!
And here we are after 3 weeks of designing and construction we have a brand new egg sales box that is stronger, larger, bigger capacity and more customer friendly.
It has 4 shelves, all dedicated to eggs, one shelf is for returned boxes, the honesty box is higher off the ground so is therefore it is easier for the customers to use and harder to destroy/remove by force (because beforehand, the way the thugs got it off was by constantly kicking it.) also there is massive bolts securing the 'sentry box' to the wall, making it almost impossible to remove. And finally it is pest proof, with a full size mesh door on the front.
